My second mother Dr Auntie has been giving talks since before I was even born! Yet, we have never been lucky to watch her talks live on the day, since the timing has always clashed with our school timings. We’re all really eager to be there not only to support her, but more important than that, we’re so keen to listen to her great material!
But Alhamdulillah, last Monday, we were very blessed to finally have the opportunity to watch our second mother in action...LIVE!! Her topic was a very powerful one - 'A Spoonful Of Pain’, a motivational talk given to hundreds of MSU students. Her material on how to respond to tough times was truly invigorating and invaluable!
Of course, it was just another talk for her, but for us, her talk was a very big thing, especially when we managed to watch her in real-time! This is our source of inspiration - you can see that even Fatimah was moved by the talk. She kept nodding her head throughout it - what more proof do you need to show how much the talk enticed even this little girl? In our family, we keep inspiring one another to do great things through our own actions, and I am truly blessed to be part of a family with such a positive, nurturing atmosphere - @drauntie.uk we want more of your inspiring talks!
